Roboform in Win7 I wanted to let you all know that in Windows 7, Roboform works correctly for filling in general fields/forms in IE, but it DOES NOT work for Password filling in Windows dialogs.
Roboform is apparently aware of the issue, but when I contacted them, they were still looking at the RC build of Windows 7. We know Windows 7 is only a month away, and I'm a bit concerned that they don't have a Windows 7 version ready yet.
Just a FYI for you all that use Roboform. EDIT: SEE REPLY #4 FOR SCREENSHOTS

They are really extremely very good for keeping up. I'll have to check this out in Firefox and see if that issue lurks there as well. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Build OS Microsoft Windows 7 Professional X64 CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 965 @ 3.20GHz Motherboard Intel DX58SO Memory Kingston 3x2 GB (DDR3 1600 MHzς) Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT [x2 (SLI Technology)] Sound Card RealteK High Definition Audio (On Board) Monitor(s) Displays SyncMaster 245BW (Digital) Screen Resolution 1920X1200 Pixels Keyboard Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 3000 Ergonomics Keyboard Mouse Ergonomics Keyboard and Optical Mouse Combo PSU PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 Quad 750W PSU Case Antec Sonata Elite Cooling Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU Retail Hard Drives ST3500410AS ATA Device (465.76GB)

I'm not sure what you are saying. I have been using Roboform for password filling with IE since the beta. (Windows 7 x64 Ultimate). Now using RTM. Maybe I am missing what you mean by "Windows dialogs". | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1, Windows 8 Pro x64 CPU INTEL Core i7 3820 LGA 2011 Motherboard Gigabyte GA X79 UD5 v1.0 F13s Memory 16 GB (4 X 4GB) G-Skill Ripjaws Z DDR3 2133 Quad Channel Graphics Card EVGA GTX 460 SC 1GB Sound Card Realtek Onboard ALC898 Monitor(s) Displays Samsung BX2431 Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech G15 Mouse Microsoft Wireless Explorer Mouse PSU Corsair HX1000W Case Thermaltake Armor+ Cooling INTEL BXRTS2011LC Liquid-cooled Hard Drives OCZ Vertex 4 120GB 2.5 in. pbcopter,
Like I said, yes, it works for filling forms in IE fine, but the Toolbar menus have display issues, and it cannot fill password dialogs in Windows 7 (it can in Vista and prior)
This is an example of a password dialog:
And this is the menu issue (the menu will initially appear blank, but putting the mouse over each item will show the text):

It's Not working for me either This thread seems like it went dead, however, I'm still experiencing this problem. Does somebody know something that I don't? What does it take to get RoboForm (I'm using the latest, 6.9.97) with IE8 on Windows 7 x86 Enterprise?
thanks,

Regarding Roboform in Windows 7, I installed a licensed copy of Roboform. I copied over my profile with my logins from a Vista machine. On the Vista machine, The Profile with the logins is in user\documents\My Roboform Data.
I see no logins in FF or IE, so I conclude I have put it in the wrong place. Where does it belong? Folder? Library? What?
Thanks. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell Studiio XPS 9000 OS Win 7 CPU I7-920 Memory 6 gig DDR3 Graphics Card integrated Sound Card integrated Monitor(s) Displays 20" Dell Hard Drives 750 gig WD |

UPDATE:
Long time since this was posted.
Roboform 7 and later versions of 6.x) can fill in Password dialogs now.
As to question last posted, Roboform DOES work in IE9.
The missing text problem is resolved in Roboform 7, AFAIK. However, it does still exist under RDP sessions.

I was having issues with Roboform (free version) and contacted Roboform Techs. They suggested I installed the Roboform Desktop version (still free). After uninstalling the previous version and reinstalling the Desktop version, it looks a little different in both IE and Firefox, but it works fine.
I have had no issues with it since. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Pro CPU Intel(R) Pentium(R) Duel CPU E2200 2.20 Ghz Motherboard GA-G41M-ES2L Memory 4 gb 2.96 Usable Graphics Card Onboard Sound Card Onboard Hard Drives 2 - 1TB WD Sata Drives Roboform in Win7 problems?
