Forced to create a new user account for program(s) to work.

This has happened to me twice, including my new PC.

Adobe CS6 suite was working fine when I crashed using After Effects. I now get crashes or locking when rendering in After Effects or Premier Pro. Adobe Media Encoder won't even launch. I created a new user account they all run fine (so far). Same thing on my old machine running CS4.

What would be easier:
1) Fixing my original user account (registry edit? some corrupt file somewhere?)
2) Transferring or recreating all my accounts, libraries, shortcuts, etc. to the new account and delete the old one. Is there an easy way to do this?

Currently using Win7-64 (Pro)

I tried no startups and no non-microsoft services. No change.
Since Media Encoder always crashes on 'Loading ImporterQuickTime.prm' I reinstalled Quick Time, and even the 3 programs in the CS6 suite. No good unless I login under the other user. Both users have administrative rights. I also tried enabling startup items related to QuickTime and Adobe.

Do you have System Restore from before the issues arose which you can try? They are reversible.

This may be a known issue which can be resolved by googling it agilely.

I guess if the new profile has none of the problems then you could move over to it. If it did it calls for a Repair Install or Factory Recovery/Reinstall but probably not if a new profile behaves.

But I would want no performance issues remaining at all, and the WIn7 standard of instantaneous response with no-hangs ever on adequate hardware.
