    Class Not Registered

    Hi guys

    Desktop
R click and select personalise and I get the above error.

I have read through the previous forum threads covering this error and tried the various fixes via cmd.exe (as admin). I am either missing a .dll somewhere any easy fix?.

Clean install yesterday and no naughty torrent files viruses etc... yet

    thanks for any advice

I don't get it. You did a clean install and as soon as you attempt to Personalize you get Class Not Registered? Or you used the system for some time and then the error manifested. Which is it?

Also it makes life a lot easier if you fill out the specs sheet. I know I'm not going to post asking you "do you have this?" or "do you have that?" It wastes too much time.

Windows had been on the system about 40 minutes and that includes my going outside for a smoke after the install completed when the problem first appeared
