| | User account Security Program Conflict I have a DOS based Program we are using for our POINT of Sale on our 64 bit Windows 7 proffesional PC's. If we run the program at the recomended UAC setting, the DOS program asks for a Password for the printer used. IF we drop the UAC to the lowest setting the DOS program runs with no problems at all. We have no passwords assigned to the printer. any ideas how to get a program to bypass the UAC so the rest of the system will be safe at the recomended UAC level? FYI, We have a 32bit (Windows 7 Pro) laptop that runs this same DOS program at the recomended UAC level with no issues what so ever. Thanks in advance for any help! |
