CCleaner vs. SlimCleaner
I've used CCleaner for years on my previous and current desktop. I use it mostly to clean cookies and temp internet files. Occasionally I clean some Windows files using it as well. I rarely use the other functions.
I have a new laptop and it's time to add a cleaning program. I downloaded (not installed yet) CCleaner and then while doing some reading learned about SlimCleaner.
Anyone have thoughts on one versus the other? SlimCleaner has a nice interface and it seems as if it will accomplish the same thing for me. In my research some seemed a bit concerned about the cloud aspect as I believe info about ones system is sent to them.
I'm kind of a creature of habit and I doubt I will change from CCleaner on the desktop so for continuity maybe I should stick with it on the laptop but it is always fun to try something new.
