Convert NTFS To fat32 without format

Is there any way to convert from NTFS to FAT32 without format ?

Hi and welcome to seven forums

Nope. Im assuming you want to change a drive with data on it. If so you need to back it up reformat and restore it.

If thats not what you want to do please explain

What about partiton magic ? my friend told that you can to convert to fat32 without format using partiton magic ?

is partiton magic work with windows 7 ?

As far as I know conversion without formating a drive can only go one way.

Fat > Fat32 > NTFS

Agree, what's the point convert NTFS to FAT? No software does that. If you google partition software, you can find few software handle convert pretty nice.

Yes, actually. You can convert Ntfs to Fat32 using PowerQuest's Partition Magic.
I've done so.

Anyway, though converting Ntfs to Fat32 is possible, you cannot run Windows Vista or 7 on a FAT32 partition. They can read and write to FAT32 partitions, but they cannot run on FAT32.

Also Partition Magic is quite old, and won't work on Vista. But Ntfs->FAT32 is possible under XP
