    Torrent Programs

    Hi!

I installed windows 7 and itīs working fine, but there is two problems. First i have installed different torrent programs like azureus, bittorrent, bitcomet, etc... All of them has the same problem they simply donīt start. I can see the processes running on task manager, but nothin ever happens. I am using f-secure client security, but there is firewall disabled on it.

Another problem is that if I donīt use this computer for while network wonīt work anymore when i come back. I need to disconnect and then reconnect to my wlan and then itīs working again.

    Sorry for my bad English

oh really!? vuze is java based so uses a lot more system resources (RAM, CPU) whereas utorrent is small and lightweight and uses hardly anything. i know its personal preference, but for a user with limited resources i'd go with utorrent..281k installer vs azureus(vuze)10mb installer...figure that one out!

uTorrent is the only way to go period. It was ok when it was just Azereus, but once Vuse took over....

Another vote for uTorrent though I still only use version 1.6.1. BitTorrent/uTorrent is pretty much the same app these days.

For the network issue go into device manager right click on the NIC and check properties - make sure that allow windows to control power on this device is unchecked
