Windows 7: What DirectX should i install?

i just did a clean install of windows 7
(btw, thanks Sevenforums for the guide! ^^)

i did install the necessary drivers..

and..

i badly want to play now



im new to this, i just want to ask what DirectX should i install?
there's DirectX End-User Runtimes etc..
im just confused what directx should i install O_O

You got DirectX 11 with Windows 7, whether you wanted it or not.

Some older games need some DirectX pieces that aren't included with Windows 7, even though DX11 is supposed to be a superset of all the older versions.

I suggest downloading and installing the latest redistributable version:

Download: DirectX Redist (June 2010) - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details

As far as I know, it will not damage any of the newer components, and will do no harm.
