Skype Exception code: 0xc0000005 problems

Please refer to my OP in this thread...

cliffs - New MSI Laptop works fine for a few weeks then 1 day programs start crashing and multiple BSODs occur.
-BSODs possibly fixed now by updating drivers

One of the 1st things in the sequence of errors in the linked thread was the Skype application crashing. It is the main thing that crashes most often and is always first to crash. Crash times are random, someones it insta crashes on startup and it can run up to an hour or 2 before crashing again. I get a popup saying there was an error and Skype has to close.

Here is the details from Event Viewer

Faulting application name: Skype.exe, version:, time stamp: 0x50816e63
Faulting module name: jscript9.dll, version: 9.0.8112.16450, time stamp: 0x50372636
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x00006e58
Faulting process id: 0x1138
Faulting application start time: 0x01cdb2c4fb66ef04
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\jscript9.dll
Report Id: b9a772e6-1ec8-11e2-9a38-6c626d371770

I have googled this for skype specific solutions and many people have had the same problem, however possible resolutions offered by skype team/experts such as updating certain things on the system and updating skype to the new beta version but havent had any success with this. I also originally tried uninstalling and reinstalling Skype as per first thread.

I feel like the problem is affecting skype but is more likely to be a problem with windows/my system than skype itself so any help would be appreciated.

Other problems that have popped up that I think are all related is that I randomly get the "Aw snap" page on chrome more regularly than ever before and another program also crashed regularly when in use. The program is called Holdem Manager 2, its a poker related program that continuously takes data from the files left by poker sites, sends it to a database and then outputs it to my screen in various statistical formats.

The event viewer log for it is here

I have also posted this on the forum for this software specifically today but I feel like again, this is more likely to be a system problem than a software problem. Also I havent checked if this has now been fixed since the BSODs stopped as I havent ricked playing poker on this laptop yet.

Thanks in advance for any help
