Why Java is Not Found x64
After installation of Java on the x64 versions of Windows Vista, Java applications will either fail to run or display an error upon installation that Java was not found.
This blog has a simple work around to get Java working in x64 Vista...I am certain it also applies to x64 Windows 7.
NOTE: I posted this link in the Firefox/Java thread but felt it might deserve it's own thread as it applies to much more than Firefox.
