Can't delete mystery files :/

Hello,

Sorry if this is the wrong section for this thread, but i couldn't much it anywhere else either. So basically i am trying to delete a folder, which in properties shows it has 0 bytes inside, but 14 folders. I tried to delete those but their names are too long for the recycle bin. So i could simply rename them to something smaller, but the problem is that they don't appear anywhere. When opening the folder it shows like there is nothing inside. It says there are some files, but when opening the folder there is nothing there, properties say 0 bytes but 14 folders. The folder name is also written in blue for some reason. I have no idea how this files were made. I formated my pc and when i went to delete the windows.old files these were left for some reason.

Any good solutions?

Blue means that it was compressed with windows.

If your trying to remove the whole windows.old file trying doing it through disk cleanup in C: drive properties.

Shift+Delete i am afraid didn't work.
How exactly can i do a disk cleanup. You mean by going to c: properties? I tried that but i could only delete some useless files that were like 100mb. I could also format hdd but i have windows on it so that would be a problem :/

Anyways i believe this might be more helpfull:

Folder ( in this case named "1" ) is not empty, you see it as an empty folder because "Hide operating system files" is checked in Tools > folder options > view.

to see the files in it go to folder options and uncheck all "hide" stuff.
then go to folder you wish to delete and select all the files in it, right click and properties, now click on security and modify user rights so that you gain full access to these files.
after that select them all and press SHIFT + delete.

However it's your responsibility to not delete the files that may be needed by OS in the future.
