    SearchQU Toolbar

I have reference to searchqu toolbar in program files, and when it pops up it causes my PC to run erratically. The file is in program files, but cannot be deleted. I cannot find mention of it in the registry. Help!

searchqu is not reident in your PC, It is a website, and must be blocked. Block www,searchqu.com and you will be OK.

Download AdWareCleaner AdwCleaner Download to your desktop
1.Right-click on adwcleaner.exe and select Run As Administrator to launch the application.
    2.Click on Delete button.
    3.Confirm each time with OK.
4.Your computer will be rebooted automatically. A text file will open after the restart. Please post the content of that logfile in your reply.
Note: You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[Sn].txt as well - n is the order number.

Hoping so, I want to see what you find :) He says it is not resident on his PC, but I beg to differ

P.S. Is that app you suggested generic, or specific to this problem? Will the search function (instead of delete) create a log with items it wants to delete?

This is "adware" Searchqu toolbar (searchnu.com)

@ A Guy, see my post on downloading and how to use AdWareCleaner.
It does produce a log for us to see. :)

I have since used it. I asked about the search function creating a log as your instructions were for the delete function
