Trying to run advertised program with error (0x00000000)

Hello,
I have downloaded an advertised program and installed it. Other programs work fine but this program (Adobe After Effects and Premiere CS4) when I try to open it gives this error "Unable to initialize package information (0x00000000)" I really need this to work for a school project due in 2 days and am freaking out, any help is most appreciated. I also know how to make a temporary Local Administration account (with no restrictions) because this is a school "Take Home" laptop we have restrictions but the IT department knows I won't do anything bad and don't care really what I do as long as it is legal.

Thanks heaps,
Jabelone
