Weird Issue

Not sure if this is right place to post this however all my icon associations for Microsoft Office have suddenly reverted to a generic icon (see pic) They still load in their various programs i.e. word, excel etc but it is really annoying that the icons are not what they should be. This appeared to happen after trying to install setpoint 4.80 for my logitech mx revolution which would not install either. I am running Windows 7 RTM x64

I hope someone out there can shed some light on this please.

Try that. Else, I would Right Click each file type, Open With...
Navigate to appropriate app and open

See if either works.

And trying to change the icon back via "change icon" doesn't fix it?

I do not get the option to "change icon" with the files saved from office ... I tried rebuilding the icon cache too with no success ... I tried re-installing Office 2007 but it goes so far then says it has encountered an error, I tried uninstalling office but can't .. this is EXTREMELY frustrating as I am not sure what I have done to cause it to happen

Weird HDD space issue…
I have two 1TB storage drives in a Lian Li EX-503 setup as individual disks. One is a old WD 1TB Black and one is a newer (2012) Hitachi. These drives are not in RAID1 but I have them both synced with FreeFileSync. The weird thing is the WD has 1.05GB less space than the Hitachi and both drives...

Weird issue with my clock....
I noticed the clock on my computer was wrong earlier, so I entered the settings and made sure everything was ok. About 4-5 hours later it is reading 28 minutes fast (time was 12:21, but read 12:49 on my computer). Anyway..this is what I got when trying to update the time: ...

Weird Sound Issue.
Hey there :) I really can't find what's causing this issue. Perhaps it's a lack of RAM, I don't know.. Anyway. Every time I load a page or open a new window it makes my sound go in a slow motion style. It doesn't do it straight away when I boot up windows, it just randomly starts a few...

Weird boot up issue
I sometimes get this weird boot up issue where my system will just sit at the POST screen and not detect any devices. However, if I unplug my USB hub as well as anything in the front USB port (eg. my iPod), then turn the system on, it usually boots up normally. Sometimes the iPod and hub will be...
