Amazing new Partition Wizard feature

The latest Partition Wizard v7.6 has a new Extend feature that extends a partition with space from any other partition even non-adjacent! This is pushing the boundaries of what a partition tool can do.

This video shows how it works: How to extend partition easily with partition magic – Partition Wizard video help.

As always if resizing the OS partition I would use the boot disk for added safety. But it just equalized the free space on my 3 secondaries from the desktop!

It's an amazing tool which we have helped make famous in countless complicated partitioning operations/rescues here daily for 3+ years.

When SIW2 first began giving out these PW steps many of the operations were not even known to be possible, yet we regularly do a half dozen of them in one go.

There may be no app that has had such highly visible stress testing and never had its boot disk fail.

And there is no other Help site that does this except here, largely thanks to the way you set it all up John.

Now that will be a very handy feature. It'll cetainly help make fixing messed up partition posts here easier.

I just got my first 3TB (> 2TB) HD. I initialized it as a GPT Disk in Windows Disk Management (DM). I created the partition in MiniTool Partition Wizard (PW). Seeing a difference in DM and PW, I cleaned the disk and then re-initialized and created the partition in DM. If the partition is...

I am trying to reduce the partition of D drive on a laptop in order to increase the size of the C drive. In Win 7 Computer Management the D Drive is shown as 98% empty. I booted from the Partition Wizard CD I made and found that in PW06 the drive was shown as 100% full and was unable to reduce the...

Remove System Reserved Partition+Partition Wizard
When I restore from an image there's only 31% free on the System Reserved Partition. I have to wait about 30 minutes or longer and then there is 63% free, then I can create an image. I want to continue to use the Win 7 backup utility because it's very reliable on my computer. I've got a...

Partition Wizard and new OS
I've been reading most of the threads here regarding Partition Wizard and grabbing applicable data as I go. It is a bit of a guess and go and I decided to risk asking a dumb question. I've got a new 500 GB dive and Win7 Pro disk on my table, waiting. I'm currently using XP Pro, 4 partitions and...
