Missing File Extension
Hello everyone.. I come once again humbly seeking your help and expertise. I applaud your persistence.
My system is Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack one. It is a 64 bit operating system with 4 GB RAM and Intel Core(TM)2 Quad CPU, built by HP.
My problem: The file extension .EXE is not in the list of extensions fouind in Default Programs in the control Panel; It also is not listed as autorundll.EXE.
Question: Is this extension supposed to be present in the list? if it is, how to I replace it.
ALready tried: I ran System Fuke Checker from the command prompt and it reported that it found corrupt files and was unable to fix some. I attempted to find the CBS\CBS log file and it was not where it was supposed to be, so I don't know what sfc could not repair. Please help.
