question about SPEEDFAN

Hi every one,

just installed speedfan and using it with rainmeter. Dont matter if speedfan is running on its own or viewed in rainmeter skin, the gpu fan and case fan columns are not showing any readings. I think they should show some numbers at some time because the fans are working and i can hear them, so there should be some rmp shown in these columns.
can any one help on this?

I use Speedfan and it works fine -- finds everything with no config settings needed.

You should go to the SpeedFan website and look through their list of supported sensors and motherboards. IF yours is not on the list, SpeedFan will not show any measurements.

I've had quite a few HP PCs. Often SpeedFan won't show fan speed, or may only show one fan. I've found HWMonitor works well. At least it works fine on both HPs with AMD CPUs.

edit: I have AMD 5200+ dual core and AMD Phenom I quad. HWMonitor works on both.
