Windows 7: ADE 2.0 installer adobe - digital editions administration rights

Hi everyone,
As part of a tablet set up I need to download the above program onto my PC. / Asus PC U33 J series, 64 bit running windows 7 home premium.) The problem is that I down load the file from the adobe website

but then when attempting to install the exe installer file, a window pops up saying that I don't have the necessary permissions and that I need to log in as an administrator. So a user name and password is required.

I check my account type and I am already logged in as an administrator.



so does anyone know what the problem could be ?

Right click the file, and select 'Run as administrator'.
If the program itself asks for Administrator privileges, right click and go to properties>compatibility tab>privilege level>check 'run as administrator'.
