How can I uninstall a program that doesn't appear in Uninstall/change

How can I uninstall a program that doesn't appear in Uninstall/change programs?

I can see the program folder in Program files but I guess deleting this folder alone will leave traces on the registy etc. I've tried with CCleaner and Revo uninstaller and the program doesn't appear either.

    Any help will be welcome.

You could use Process Monitor to see what happens during an install... then reverse those actions. Here is a post that talks about using that tool, but you would filter on the installer exe. Missing start menu icons

Hello Rodion, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You might see if reinstalling the program will repair it's installation, then see if it's listed in "Programs and Features" to properly uninstall.

    Hope this helps, :)

Hi: the program is "left 4 dead 2", it's in russian, now I can't see it in Uninstall or change and when I installed the English version it sounds in russian probably because the russian files are there somewhere.
    Thanks.

Thanks Usernameissues: I eventually installed the program and then it appeared in Programs and features then I could uninstall it. I'll try the Process monitor tool, seems a good tool, saw your post describing it. Thanks all of your answers.

    +1 for Brink

I've done the "re-install just to uninstall" thing before...
...but sadly, that method was not the first thing that came to my mind this time.

    glad you got it fixed
