I don't know how to describe my problem, but i seriously need help.

This a print screen of a Messenger Chat Window, and is supposed to be the emoticons list. I firstly thought there's a problem with my flash player, but i checked everything and my version is up to date and everything else works perfectly. While i'm on my browser, i do not face any kind of problem. Only when i open the installed apps. Mostly of them happen to have this issue.

Here is a print screen of my Norton Security which, on my last computer, i remember it had a lot more icons, symbols and buttons on the screen. After i got my new laptop ( Sony VAIO ), it worked perfectly for about 1 month then i don't know what happened and i woke up with this problem only on Messenger than it spread.

And yesterday, I wanted to play sims 3 after a long while, after 3-4 months or so. Then, it had absolutely no problem. Now, it started to freak me out because I can't work properly on my computer due to the fact that I can't see where I click or what I click on.

I'm seriously looking forward for a workable solution, or at least a piece of advice that could lead to one.
    Thank you.

Hello Andrea and welcome to Seven Forums.

I'm just taking a really wild guess here but do you now or have you ever had Java installed? Java is the programming language that lets you use chat forums, play online games, view images in 3D, etc.

Just for the heck of it, run JavaRa (an uninstaller tool) to make sure all traces of any previous versions of Java are removed from your computer. Then try installing the latest version of Java. Any change to your situation?

    Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

To avoid a lot of Q & A about your hardware and OS configuration, please click on this link to
    Edit System Specs

Filling this out, at least partially, will save a lot of time. Another advantage is when posting a new problem, the person answering can just click the My System Specs link in the bottom of your post. No need to search for the information.

If you have multiple systems just indicate that in the System Specs so that we know why many of the fields are blank.
