Anyone know how to remove old securom files?

Anybody out there knows how to get rid of old SecuROM files? Hereís the situationÖ

I have a 1TB WD My Book drive that I was using as a backup. However, Iíve not used the drive in nearly 2 years and the backups on it were from an older Windows install.

Anyway I was deleting some old files I no longer needed, including some older images/backups and ran into a folder I canít delete because it has some old SecuROM files.

Iíve tried taking ownership of the folder but it error out because the file appears to be protected.

Iíve also tried using SecuROMís removal tool, but once you run it, it removes all licenses, (which I donít want) and it didnít touch the files on the WD My Book drive. Iím guessing since there are no registry entries for the old files on the drive, the tool didnít see them.

At any rate does anyone have a solid idea on how to remove the blasted files short of wiping the drive?
