Looking for specific feature in batch editing software..

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone will be able to recommend any software that can help with the following situation:

On a regular basis I need to search for one string in multiple files, but have the replaced string be different in each file, for example:

Search 1.txt for A, replace A with B
Search 2.txt for A, replace A with C
Search 3.txt for A, replace A with D

The B,C,D variables change on a daily basis so importing them must be quick. (It is for many more than 3 files)

While most batch editing programs easily perform replacing A > B for every file easily, I have not been able to find a way to do the above simply and quickly.

All values are already kept in an excel file which would make importing easy either by file or copy and paste.

Thanks for any help or recommendations!

What would the batch file editor key on? How could it know which file gets which value?

Can provide 3 to 5 real world batch files, a small version of the excel file and a description of the how you know which file gets which value: B, C or D
