McAfee folder after Adobe flash install?

The other day I installed Adobe flash, I also installed Far Cry 3. I was in the Program Data folder (among others) looking to see where Far Cry puts it's save games and came across this McAfee folder. It contains other folders (MCLOGS/Common/MsiExec) that finally contains a text file, "MsiExec000".

This is what's in the text file:

01/09/2013 05:07:34 AM$ -- (Error)$ [ MSSBA78.tmp]$ The Attribute: 'action' does not exist.
01/09/2013 05:07:34 AM$ -- (Error)$ [ MSSBA78.tmp]$ The Attribute: 'action' does not exist.

01/09/2013 05:07:34 AM$ -- (Error)$ [ MSSBA78.tmp]$ Criteria Check failed for reading registry entry for installed version of MSS

Can I just delete the McAfee folder?

I don't know. You probably have McAfee Security Scan Plus installed:

Check the Programs and Features control panel to see if it's there so that you can uninstall it.

I do not. I unchecked that box during install. I have no listing for McAfee in add/remove programs.

I'm going to delete it but leave it in the Recycle bin and see if I have any issues.

If you dont use Macafee as your Anti Virus, but those files\folders apeared. Try running the Macafee Anti Virus Removal Tool, It will delete all Macafee's reg keys and files on your machine.

Found exact same folder creation (C:\ProgramData\McAfee\MCLOGS\Common) after aborting installation of Java Runtime Environment 7u17 (the bundled software choice from ORACLE was the infamous ASK Toolbar, which I opted out of); the folder in the Common folder was named JavaSetup7u17, and the text file in that folder, titled "JavaSetup7u17000", contained very similar text to that posted above:

Don't personally mind such an innocuous logfile, provided there's no interference from McAfee with the installed Norton 360 suite, but it does make one wonder about possible ethical considerations...
