Windows 7: Advice about Wondershare 1 Click PC Care

I am in the process of debating whether or not to download Wondershare 1 Click PC Care. It says that it can repair most issues with 1 click after analyzing the system. To me this sounds like a bad idea and I want to know if anyone has ever used it before? Pros and Cons would help me a lot before I decide to download it to another computer in my house having issues

I wouldn't use it personally. Instead, How about letting us know the issues the other pc in your house is having?.

Using a program to try & speed up your PC rarely yields any results. In some cases it actually damages the system to the point of being inoperable. If you decide to use any such maintenance program, be sure you have backups of your system.

Some people on this forum use CCleaner. It's free and does a decent job.

Aside from that, be wary of registry cleaners and programs that promise to speed up your system, most of it is just snake oil. I notice that Wondershare wants you to pay for the program. I don't think it would be a good use of your money.

Also, as braddersz posted, if you are having problems, you can always post them on the forum and someone will be able to assist you.

I too would advise against using that piece of software. Or anything even remotely like it! Way too much room for error with those things. If you have anything specific we can help with...........

Well first of all thanks to all you that replied to my thread.

I am having issues with the speed of my computer and came across Wondershare 1 click pc care in a search. I was skeptic to begin with about it. I do have Ccleaner and it does a great job but there are still some speed issues with my laptop and i have used ccleaner and i have ran my kaspersky internet suite along with windows defender and have found no issues or viruses.....

What is the make and model of your laptop?

When you say it's running slow, Slow doing what? At bootup? Games? Internet? Certain applications like Word,Excel etc etc.

How old is the laptop?

My laptop is a HP 2000-425NR. I bought this October 2012 so its still new.

Whats mostly slow is Chrome, opening open my Documents folder and such, also IE defintely has a long time opening. Word is fine. Opening videos regardless of the extension (.avi, .mp4, .mkv, .flv) take a long time to open
