I didn't know about the hoovering stuff. But it gives the same effect as clicking. And the installed software isn't listed there. Not all anyway. My Samsung printer driver
UI whatever is listed there, for example, but not Eclipse. And I am running Eclipse now!
I tried twice to install the ADK (Android development kit) which includes Eclipse, with the problem I've described here, unable to find any of that software. It also happened with some sound driver and something else. Then I downloaded only Eclipse and it was polite enough to show a dialog when finished, asking me if I want to run it now. And I do see its folder under C:/ Maybe it's the installers fault.
But indeed, Eclipse is definitely installed, but not visible under Start menu.
