    I think so.

Here's the link I got in an MS email about switching to Skype.
Download Skype and chat with your Windows Live Messenger contacts

At the bottom of the page it has links for Android and Android Tablet.
In there it states Requires Android: 2.1 and up

    Hello ROCKNROLLPIMP,

Yes, In Post #11 I was replying to you.
I just wanted you to know that the current version of Skype is not the version Windows Update is updating your version to.
I find it odd that Windows Updates is updating your PC for Skype, but it is not updating to the latest version.

In Post# 10 you said "do not like the newer versions".
So, I don't know if you want the latest version...

If you do want the latest version, you should be able to download and install it.

Seven Forums sent an email to you to let you know someone posted to a thread that you have posted in.
That's why you got an email.
You can turn that off if you don't want email notifications.

Yes I knew the newest version was 6.1 and find the whole ordeal strange (why I made that post)
I will try shortly to put 4.2 back on here again
thanks for the info as well

    OK, understood.
If you do get 4.2 reinstalled, you can hide the Windows Update for 5.1 so it will not keep installing the update.
Let us know if you need help with that.

Yea, I also replied later to the Android question, so i can see how that could cause confusion...
