Can't uninstall AiCharger+ to upgarde to W8

I'm trying to upgrade to W8 and it tells me I need to manually uninstall ASUS AI Charger Plus. It's not in my programs list or anything and I used CCleaner to remove a Startup item for it. I have no idea how to get rid of it wherever it is.

I even tried reinstalling the AI Suite so I could then uninstall the Charger from that, but the install of the AI Suite doesn't work. It starts to up the install wizard for a brief second and then just closes. I'm starting to feel like I'm going to have to reinstall 7.

It shows up here in my notification settings but when I search for this "AiChargerAP.exe" I get no results.

Any idea how to remove this so I can install W8? Thank you!

Hello,
Try downloading this patch for AI SuiteII, reinstall AI SuiteII, and then do a regular uninstall.

For it to work I had to run the patch twice, followed by a reboot each time.
It worked for me.

The ASUS AI suite is more trouble than anything else. At the end I only kept fan expert and got rid of everything else.

Hope this helps,

Cheers,
