Windows 7: Adobe Flash Player repeat installs of same version every day

Hi not sure this is the right place to post this problem.

I use Game Ranger to launch my Links2003 Golf Game. For the past month and a half every time I try to enter this site I have to install Adobe Flash Player 11.5. It is already installed in the proper folders (system32) and (SysWOW64) I have contacted Game Ranger but they can not help.

I went to Adobe Site and got the uninstaller for the the Adobe Flash Player. followed all the instructions, Removed it completely, Removed Game Ranger completely. Then reinstalled the flash player 11.5 and checked to make sure it reinstalled into the proper folders. then reinstalled Game Ranger. and it worked fine for almost 5 days. Now I have to reinstall the same flash player every new day I go into Game Ranger.

Can you suggest anything

Try unchecking the auto updater in msconfig, see if it helps.

Try the following process to uninstall and reinstall.

1. Uninstall Game Ranger first completely. I would advise that you use Revo uninstaller Free which scans the registry too and deletes related entries. Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems . After the uninstall reboot.

2. Now uninstall Adobe Flash Player using Adobe uninstaller. You already know how. Again reboot.

3. Now install Game Ranger first. I do not know whether it offers to download and install Adobe as part of its install process. If it does, allow it to install Adobe.

4. If not install Adobe after installing Game Ranger.

Check whether this resolves your problem.
