Picture It 10 and Win 7 Ultimate

Picture it 10 works fine with win 7 Pro 64. With Win 7 Ultimate 64 it won't work with Shaped text. Shaped text truncates at the edge of the text box. Text input looks fine when you modify it but it is cut off when entered into the picture. Normally the whole text will fit to the size and shape of the box. You can stretch and pull to fit the images surrounding the text. It works fine on my win 7 pro machines, but not on my new I7-3rd gen laptop which came with Ultimate. The unshaped text works normal, but I like the ability to shape it on the image that worked with Win 7 Pro. This problem exists with new and old images that always were good.
What is the cause and mostly how can I fix it. Changing compatibility mode has no effect. Tried deleting and reloading PI-10, no help. Ran same CD and loaded it on another win 7 Pro and it worked fine.

I really want to work with it on this newer more powerful computer. So much faster than dual cores or Pentium.

Can I run in virtual mode? What OS? Will it get the benefit of the I7-3rd gen if I do?
