Help - Would like to automate uninstallation of ALL versions of Java

We use a remote management system capable of running scripts on computers in the form of powershell, visualbasic, and batch files, and are interested in using this capability to automatically update Java on all workstations. We are already of capable of installing the latest version, but one of the pitfalls of Java installers is they leave older (ie exploitable) versions of Java on the system.

To remedy this, we would like to create a script that first REMOVES all versions of Java, then a second that INSTALLS the latest version available.

Is anyone aware of a way to automatically and silently uninstall all versions of Java from a system? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

Hi ChaunceySansom, Welcome to Seven Forums.
A week has gone by since you asked the question so I think a question like that needs to be asked here at the Java forum
