    Free Batch Image Downloader?

Can someone recommend a good free program that will batch download images? I'd like to be able to get wallpapers from sites w/o having to click on each thumbnail and then saving the images individually. I've tried a couple of programs but they didn't work very well. Thanks!

A lot of websites prohibit the use of such tools because of bandwidth concerns. What website are you wanting to get the files from?

None in particular, just various wallpaper sites.

Maybe others know of a tool that you can use. I would write my own and it would be specific to the website of interest. Some websites have zip files that you can download and discard the ones that you don't want. Just be careful since "free wallpaper" websites can get you infected.

Found one called NeoDownloader that seems to be working pretty well.

If you are using Firefox, then the DownThemAll addon would do that. You can select the images you want to download (by default all are selected) and download them to a folder of your choice.
And its a very good download manager also. :)

I use Bulk Image Downloader. It's free and works great. It's a separate program from the browser and you just paste the link and press scan. Select the images you want and delete what you don't want.

Yeah you can use it for free. Sometimes it bothers you about paying and has limits but it works great otherwise. I have used DownloadThemAll before and find Bulk Image Downloader to be much easier to operate.
