    WLM (MSN) Spam!

I have searched, and I don't know if it is related to that leak of usernames or not, but there just is not anything on it.

I have been getting spam on WLM (windows live messenger) from either bots or people, I don't know.
They seem to have valid names (i.e. they are xxxxxxxxx@hotmail.com) and they are REAL names, not random characters. It ALWAYS has a link to look2381 (no actual link here, as I have no idea what is on the site).

    Anyone else get this?

sure, all the time.. I give them the attention they deserve, and promptly ignore/deny the request...

    hey How is school coming?

this is definetly related to the phishing. there has been a 40% rise in spam coming from the affected sites. the real names are someones contact list and your email is on it. alot of the spam relates to phoney electronics and computer sales.

I had 4 spam emails, when I signed on tonight.

Plus I keep getting IM requests from names that have no profile listed & don't sound like anybody I know ????
