    Firefox frequently crashes!

    Hello

I have windows 7 RC and firefox 3.5.3 installed with no additional addons.
My firefox crashes unexpectedly and frequently. I tried re installing firefox but no change.

I send the crash report to firefox every time but nothing happening from them.

Please help me out because I do not like any other web browser.

can yo go into event viewer (type event viewer in search) go to the windows log, application tab. Look for errors (they have red in left column) that refer to firefox. It will probably say "application error" in firefox and have an event ID, and source

    what are they?

Let us now if you need help with this

You won't get any replies from sending crash reports to Firefox; the reports are used by the Firefox programmers to try to isolate and repair problems.

However, if you were to go to Index page • mozillaZine Forums and post a message in the Firefox Support forum, you'll likely be asked to post crash report numbers, which are kept by your copy of Firefox. It is then possible that someone with the requisite knowledge can, by looking at the actual reports that you've posted, inform you as to possible causes and fixes to whatever it might be that is causing Firefox to crash.

Incidentally, it is only rarely that removing and reinstalling Firefox fixes anything, as nearly all problems are caused not by the program itself but, rather, by something(s) amiss in the profile created by the installation of Firefox.

If you have 64-bit windows, use the 32-bit version. I've heard bad things about the 64-bit version.
