    Install RealTemp

I hate to ask a remarkably dumb question, but how do I install RealTemp 3.70? I see no installation file in the directory, and I see no instructions on RealTemp's website. Thanks.

Not a dumb question. RealTemp does not install, rather you just run it. It makes no registry changes. Just extract to a folder, and click on the RealTemp.exe to run the program. A Guy

Thank you, A Guy. I currently have it on the desktop and can run it manually from there. It currently doesn't want to run as a task on startup. Any ideas on how to get it to run on startup as a task?

    GoGreen,

Add it as a task to start at logon using Task Scheduler. This thread details the steps.

Also if you like, after moving the real Temp folder to a permanent location you can right-click the .exe and Pin To start menu as well.

Hmmm. So this would also cause RealTemp to start on startup? And I didn't have to go the task route?

No, you will need the task. Task also let's it open without UAC prompt. You could place a shortcut to the exe in your startup folder, but it will pop up the UAC prompt. A Guy
