Images with Transparent Backgrounds in PDF Documents
I am using Acrobat Prof. version 8
Has anyone discovered a way in or out of Acrobat to place an image, such as a signature, in a PDF that does not cover the text elements?
Office products (Word, PowerPoint) permit the setting of transparent color so that an image can be placed without the background fill obscuring elements. Nothing in Acrobat works like that. I tried to set a transparent color in a PNG image (using IrfanView), but that did not work, so I can't tell if a PNG inserted (using Custom Stamp tool in Acrobat) would work.
