    itunes doesnt remember library

Built a new system, transferred everything across, tweaked SSD, and also moved the temp and tmp files from default to secondary drive, as given in the ssd tweak tutorial.
What happens i open iTunes i import library adding folders to library and then when i close and restart the bulk of my albums have disappeared the ones that are there are the ones ive downloaded off apple store and they are retained in the "cloud". I have never had this problem before, i have a laptop with a copy of my library on and i will check the itunes settings.
Is it anything to do with the moving of the temp files? That is the only thing i have moved different to before as given in the tutorials. Oh and i reduced pagefile sys but that shouldnt make a difference.
I mention the temp files as a thread i read after doing a search suggests something about temp files being created by a start up program and using itunes, which as being a new build would mean a piece of software from the motherboard install disc as that is the only thing different from my old pc, i think.
I did as suggested on itunes help and ticked the (edit preferences advance) keep itunes media organised, copy itunes media to folder when adding to library and also ticked consolidate files. Bootup this morning and they are unticked, home share is not remembered either although my account is remembered.
Any help please, ideally i want to transfer the temp files back to original location and see what that does, but at the moment dont know how to without causing a problem. Although just renaming them (C:\) should solve it as really thats all i did to move them to my other drive.

    Any help most welcome.

After reading on apple support, i think i may have found the solution or rather the cause, it looks like AVG 2013 is the problem, but i also have it running on my laptop and no problems.
    I will monitor.
