Key Scrambler Premium and the very latest paid version.

Hello there, I've installed an application called Keyscrambler on my Windows 7 64bit RTM edition. According to the software its both compatible with 32 bit and 64bit OS. After installing the software, windows just hangs at the boot up screen and does not load. I've installed this on a Windows 7 32bit RTM edition and it worked fine.

I've contacted the company but they just asked to get a newer version but the problem still persist.Anyone out there has the same problem ? Any suggestion to fix this problem is much appriciated.

    Thank you
I am having issues as well where Key Scrambler is not syncing with various web sites and windows apps, When I disable it all works fine. Sometimes it works sometimes it fails. When it fails instead of encrypting the text and then typing it properly in the doc or webpage it types the encrypted text instead.

Another users solution was to backslide to windows 32 bit, well that is all good and fine except for one minor problem. Windows XX 32 Bit does not support more than 3.nn gigs of memory, we all know the industry standard for memory now days is a minimum of 4 gigs and usually more like 8+ gigs. so that is not a realistic option I think most of you would agree. I am going to get ahold of QFX in the days to come to see if they have any known issues. I find just turning it off if your not typing any super secure data is a temporary fix but by no means a resolution to the problem. Also I have had the occasional BSOD due to this program.
My system specs are as follows:
Lenovo M92z All In One touch 23"
    16GB ddr3 Memory
    500 GB System Drive
Windows 7 Professional 64 bit (Legal Version not hacked)
--I have found this does not happen when using a hacked version --
Don't get me wrong I am not a supporter of hacked / cracked software, but I just did a test on a
crash machine I have here for testing purposes only and all worked flawlessly, therefore I am thinking it is something with the windows updates on the Legal versions of 64 bit that are conflicting with KS Premium & KS Pro

I will get back with you all in this post or just post a new thread when I do find a solid fix to this issue.

I have used Keyscrambler for many years. And the Premium (a giveaway win) on this Windows 7 x64 PC since I got it. The only issue (mentioned in the post directly above mine) is occasionally it will encrypt the text being typed, and show the actual text in the application. Clicking on the tray logo quickly fixes this BTW , and it is very uncommon and random. For me anyway. The free version is great if you use the browsers covered. The paid versions cover many more applications.

Thank you for your reply, yeah I have noticed it being random as well, hit and miss. I am running the paid version of premium, I figure that the cost vs. reward is totally worth it. Unlike some of the M$ software and Adobe stuff. Now that on the other hand is legal thievery. And I have no problem downloading them off torrents. hehe haha

But otherwise I am grateful for knowing I am not crazy, and that this KS issue is for reals.

Also I dont know if your using it but have you ever used RoboForm, a password form filler app. It is the best thing since sliced bread, the Roboform Everywhere edition is especially handy because you can sync it with all of your computers for one price I believe it is like $50 or $60 bucks no yearly subscription, just a one time fee.

I use it on my Mac Mini as well as my PC's

Yes, if the Keyscrambler issue happens, just click on the KS icon in the tray and it will go back to normal. I use the free Roboform for IE (10 logins only). If I had need for more then 10, I would probably purchase it. A Guy

Once again thanks for that info on KS,
Regarding RoboForm, I did the paid version, what an awesome little app. Only because I am using probably 75 to 100 logins. I couldn't live without it, the best part you can put the paid version on as many pc's / Mac's as you want, not to mention doing auto syncing keeps everything in order.

One last thing, I also use on only one machine (the one I do all my online purchases on) Trend Micro Maximum Titanium AV & Internet Security. As I got hit bad 2 years ago for my CC, once I installed it and turned on Data Theft Protection I was initially seeing 30-50 hits against my Credit Card a day, but they were stopped before they ever got used. And unlike most other AV programs TM doesnt hog resources like the others. It just runs silently in the background doing its job killing things that do not belong.

Once again Great Regards A Guy
