Looking for suggestions of Free Drawing/Art programs

Please don't repeat "I agree, just use Gimp" or other already listed ones.

Hello, I've been looking around for free art software to try of late to replace my elderly paint shop pro 5 from 1998(yes, I still use it). I bought Paint Shop Pro 12... I used it about a week. It is utter garbage. Slow, badly designed, and SLOW. Now I'm looking for alternatives that I don't have to waste money on.

There are so many shareware and freeware sites around anymore that it's very difficult to find anything of value. There are various Top Free Software sites, but they only list a few, which are generally quite outdated. I know of the gimp, I used to know a few others that are no longer free or are very much outdated.

There is a big list of free software, but not everything makes it and this is more useful separated anyway.

    List so far

Gimp - GIMP - The GNU Image Manipulation Program
    Inkscape - Inkscape. Draw Freely.
Real World Cursor Editor - RealWorld Cursor Editor - make animated cursors
Plastic Animation Paper - Plastic Animation Paper - PAP:Pro 4.0 for free
Paint.Net - Paint.NET - Free Software for Digital Photo Editing

My girlfriend uses Photoshop these days but back when she used to use free programs she spoke very highly of Gimp and SAI. Although I can't find an official website for SAI...but then again I didn't look very hard.

I am after ones that are not on the list to add to the list. I need to try them out for myself anyway whether some think they are good or some don't. This is to find new ones that either aren't well known or that have been skipped over for something else.

    Chasys Draw - http://www.jpchacha.com/chasysdraw/

Every bit as good as Photoshop or Gimp, also compatible with all Photoshop extensions. Latest version is 4.03 and is FREE.

This isn't a full graphics program but can do a few things easier than others can.
