Running MS Streets and Trips on W7 and W8.1

I have S&T 2007 and could not get it to run on W8.1. It runs good on W7, but would always hang up after the first attempt to use it on W8.1, and on W8 I don't think it even installed correctly. Amazingly once installed on W8.1, if you right click on the program click on properties then compatibility, you can select the option to run in W7. It works! This was probably the 7th session trying to get it to work. Success is sweet!
