    Daemon tools alternative?

A lot of users here say not to use Daemon tools because it can cause BSOD.
But they never say what alternative to use?

    Windows 7 64 bit

    Thanks

Power ISO is the way to go. And it's free! Works great for me!

Free unregistered versions will allow you to evaluate the software for free to determine if it suits your needs. Click "Download" to download and install the software.

The unregistered version will display a dialog prompts you to register, and you can not create or edit image files greater than 300MB with the unregistered version. To remove these limitations, please register.

Not sure if it limits mounting virtual drives.

I use Gizmo Central. It is a free complete solution, various modules of Gizmo includes for instance Gizmo Drive (mounts ISOs), Gizmo Script (automates functions using scripts), Gizmo Database (a Query Analyzer and stored procedure analyzer), Gizmo Editor (colorizing text editor and hex/binary editor), and Gizmo Hasher (calculates hash values).

Free download: Gizmo Central -- Enliven your PC

My vote goes to Virtual CloneDrive. SlySoft Virtual CloneDrive

Excellent and trouble free and the only one I have and rely upon on my PC from time immemorial.
