Windows Error Reporting using lots of resources and bandwidth

Dispite turning WER in services and turning off the scheduler entry, wermgr.exe still loads lots of processes and clogs up the network.

It seems to be mostly due to an error with WMC which dumps gigabytes of logs. So any ideas?

Did you disable the IPv6 swarfega? That's one of the first things I did as I was getting a lot of errors. Might have nothing to do with it but it helped me.

Ok IPv6 is now disabled. Its a shame though that IPv6 isnt used more extensively if its meant to fix the shortcomings of IPv4.

Yes the errors were to do with GLID. So Ive entered that key and restarted

Ill let you guys know what happens. If I get no further problems with this Ill re-enable WER.
