any free dvd converters ?

My DVD player is unable to read .mp4 files on the disc. Any suggestions on a software that can convert these videos ? I heard VOB is the standard format for the DVDs.

I recommend Download Freemake Video Converter 4.0.1.2 - FileHippo.com for burning files to a DVD. No convertion needed beforehand.

Yes I have been using it for a while now. There is just one thing to watch out for. To activate the latest features you have to make Freemake search your default. You can remove it afterwards though and still keep the update.

Video Converters, what's the best?
Hey all, I use WinAVI to convert my videos to DVD & other formats, but it causes Windows (Vista & 7) to revert to the Basic theme. I was wondering if there was anything better out there as I have a lot of Vids I'd like converting. Or, is there anything designed specifically for Windows 7 yet? ...
