File Management in Windows 7 is Annoying.

Just want to vent about this. I'm oldschool XP, so when I can't put file management buttons on the explorer bar (copy to, move to, delete, etc...), file management has become quite annoying in 7 now. I'd hate to ditch the new Explorer because it allows access to the libraries among other things, but I'd rather get Directory Opus to regain some of that functionality. There used to be QTTab bar, which was really great b/c it puts tabs on the explorer bar + various buttons, but as of right now, it doesn't work with 7.

Try clicking on "Organize" on the Explorer toolbar, and then under "Layout" click "Menu Bar." Explorer will now have the old school File/Edit/View menu. "Copy to folder..." and "Move to folder..." are under "Edit", while "Delete" is under "File."

Hope that relieves some of the pain!

That's always been available in the menu bar; as well, a couple of registry hacks will put those options on the context menu. But again, not the same, still a pain.
Just a matter of time I think, 7 will be ~ the age of media and people will find better addons/hacks to manage files/folders.
