    Adobe Reade Error Code 1321


    Hey guys I'm getting this error code evrytime I install the adobe reader can somebody please help me i need to view a ill that uses the adobe reader

    Could you post what else the Error says? Sort of something like this:
    {B708EB72-AA82-3EB7-8BB0-D845BA35C93D} HRRESULT:
    It should also show itself when you see the error.

    Edit: That first bit should be different from the one you get, just to let you know.

    Apparently it was something with my computer last night, but it let me install it this morning I don't know what was going on

    There are references scattered all over the internet about this, most having to do with modifying permissions for the various Adobe files and directories. Before going that route, I suggest turning off your antivirus protection and then running the update. After many frustrating attempts at changing the security permissions - which resulted in yet another 1321 error for yet another file, I was able to find a reference to the problem from an enterprise sys admin. I disabled my antivirus - Webroot - and ran the update. It finally worked without any problem.
