Adobe X Pro Preview Handler Error 32bit

I recently started having this problem and I'm neither able to view PDF previews nor thumbnails. I have preview (windows explorer) and thumbnail view of most other common file types.

Adobe X Pro came with Design & Web CS6 and was download from the website

I've tried the repair Acrobat installation under the help menu a couple times and a registry hack found on Google to no avail.

Really, no one here can help with this? It's certainly a known issue, but the fix is apparently elusive.

What is the exact error (screenshot is best)? You might try a system restore point from just before the problem began. A Guy

    Hi Guy,

I'll attach a screenshot. As far as I can recall it's been like this for several weeks so I'm reluctant to do a system restore. I'll look into what my restore point options are.

From what I can see there is a fix meant for the issue on x64 Windows. But the same fix is suggested for x86 versions. It is a registry issue. Have a look:

Ugh, marked as solved and lost a lengthy response!

    Short notes now...

Apparently I disabled the extension with NirSoft trying to fix another glitch. (windows explorer crashing and restarting) It's working now.

    Thanks for your time.
