"no default mail client" error, windows 7, adobe reader
A customer moved their systems to:
- new hardware
- windows 7
- office 2013
- adobe 11
and now can no longer email PDF files ... they get the "no default mail client" error.
In fact, even the simple task of clicking on a PDF saved to the Windows 7 desktop causes this error.
All settings in the control panel are correct ... and also in adobe.
On one machine we uninstalled adobe 11, and reinstalled adobe 9.5, and at least the user was able to click and launch to view the PDF document.
This did not make the error go away wrt their email processes.
This problem has been on the adobe reader forum site for over a week, with no replies. It is happening on all new windows 7 machines at this customer site.
Was working fine before.
Any and all help greatly appreciated.
