BSoD with Endpoint MR3 and MR4 This is frustrating...mostly because I really like the GUI in Win 7. I installed (upgrade feature) over a working Vista Ult 64 setup. Within minutes I started crashing to a blue screen the cause of which was reported as a system file called, wpsdrvnt.sys. It tied back to Endpoint, Symantec's all in one protection software. I was instructed to uninstall Endpoint and then reinstall the next major release; version 4 or MR4. I had been using MR3. For a few days, before I got around to installing MR4, my Win 7 system was stable; not a single crash. Reinstalled Endpoint last night and within minutes had another crash. The system will go down within a couple of minutes or can last for an hour, I never know. I made a Ghost image of the Win 7 set up but then reimaged my hard drive with the last Vista Ult 64 set up I had been using. Of course although Symantec support attempted to help, they reminded me they don't provide tech support for beta products. I'm disappointed to have to abandon Win 7. So my question: Symantec mentioned some incapability between the Win 7 kernel and this sys application. Is there a workaround, can I disable some less important element of the Endpoint services to stop the conflict? Thanks for any help.
