    Thanks,

I think most of us have had that for a while already.

Works perfectly on my 7 x64.

Definitely worth getting if you don't already have it - Paragon do great software.

    Thanks for the link

I downloaded the x64 version but it installed in the Program Files(x86) folder is it not really a 64 bit program?

The program is written in 32 bit code - it has 64 bit drivers.

It will also handle the other o/s you have installed - from within 7 x64 -or by using the boot disc - it doesn't matter if they are 32 or 64 bit.

Gotta love payed programs for free, and legit. Works good too. I used it to defrag. It had an issue but it seemed to do some of it.

    Hi all

My problem with this sort of stuff is you have to register --and then for ever more you are on some stupid email circular list getting "info about great software - please BUY this"
    or
" now for ONLY usd xx.xx a PRO / upgrade version is available".

OK you can filter this stuff out and I suppose the company has to make money somehow but it's still "nagware".

Not as bad as the DRIVERMAX type of sites that offer to scan stuff for free.

I REALLY HATE those type of sites with a VENOM - it says download program xxx for FREE or a Free scan - but when you want to do anything sensible with it you have to register and pay xxx to use any of the features you really want. - Those type of sites should be BANNED unless they say UP FRONT - the scanning software is free but you will probably have to pay to access the content found.

For partitioning you can always use something from OPEN SOURCE like GPARTED that doesn't put you on some stupid mailing list.

BTW WHY SHOULD YOU BE FORCED TO REGISTER TO GET A WINPE CD - anybody can make one of these.

    Cheers
    jimbo.

Just a word of warning. I downloaded and installed this program on my Win7 (64bit) and during a partition creation the program became unresponsive. After getting it closed I found that it completely destroyed my D: drive. Thank god drive d: only held my system backup and i was able to format it and backup my C: drive again. Needless to say I deleted the program immediately. Hope others have better luck than I did.
