    How To Edit Java.Policy In Windows 7 Home Premium

    Hello,

    Need some help on editing the java.policy file. I am currently running Word Pad as administrator, but when I go to save the file, I am denied to save the file? Can this file be edited in Windows 7 Home Premium? I am trying to stop the pop ups I am getting when printing shipping tags from Ebay?

    Thanks JR

    Hello,

    Thank you for the advise. Notepad did work and allow me to save. Not sure if you are familiar with the pop up when trying to print labels from Ebay, but I keep getting a BNBLabelsapplet pop up. It ask me if I want to save the setting, but for some reason after I add the below to the java.policy, it asks me every time??

    permission java.lang.RuntimePermission "queuePrintJob";

    Thanks JR

    Not a fix, but perhaps something for you [url=http://community.ebay.com/t5/Technical-Issues/When-I-go-to-print-a-label-it-keeps-coming-up-with-Security/qaq-p/4242463]HERE{/url]

    It is a Java warning that says "This applet want to access the printer"

    BnBLabelApplet

    I have to click it repeatedly to print as well. Used to be twice per file, the latest update last week it's 4 times per print. I have selected "always allow access" dozens of times, but even printing labels one after the other, it doesn't work and is too slow. If I print batch files I could click it once a day, but the batch files printing on ebay doesn't work with my thermal label writer (separate story).

    My answer: Print with Stamps.com, it updates the shipped info automatically in ebay. It ships FC internationally easily and best of all, once you set up your template (easy) it's one click print for all your orders of the day. I used to do stamps on only heavy ship days, it's become quicker now for even one order.

    Bonus: You can print a scan form for the PO. Bonus, you can charge your stamps.com postage to your credit card and get a rebate (1%paypal or miles etc).
