Monitor CMD window for a string?

Hi,

is there a way to monitor an open CMD prompt window for a certain text string? Let's say I am expecting the word "interrupted" and once this appears in the CMD window, I want to be alerted (preferably by email). I am not at the computer at all times so this would come in handy.

Is there such a thing?

Thanks!
